Hwange National Park
Spend a fruitful day, explore and camp in Zimbabwe‘s largest national park 14560sq km, one of Africans best, internationally famous for the wide spectrum of wildlife protected within its borders with a great variety of habitats each with its unique plant community. Experience thrills of close encounters with the majestic African Elephant, the magnificent Giraffe, the dramatic rolling of the Lilacbreasted Roller plus many more. We depart from Victoria Falls Hotels at 0530 on a road transfer to Main Camp arriving at 0730. Breakfast is served upon arrival at a local restaurant soon after which you continue with main program of game driving into the park. Lunch is served at a picnic site or on and observation platform overlooking a perennial waterhole where you able to view animals coming down to quench their thirst. Refreshments are provided during the safari and return to Victoria Falls around 1800.

Hwange 2 Days 1 night Wilderness Safari ex Victoria Falls  US$350pp minimum 4, maximum 10
Day one – We pick you up at 0730 from your hotel or can meet you at the airport on arrival and road transfer you to Main Camp. Accommodation is provided in line with your requirement ranging from camping to hotels to lodges, cottages and chalets. Depending on arrival time a short game drive will be done before lunch which will be served at a local restaurant. Soon after lunch there will be a general discussion about Hwange National Park initiated by your guide, another learning and discovery session. Short siesta followed by a sundowner game drive at 1500 with refreshment returning to hotel at 1830. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant; if time permits your guide will take you on a star gazing of the southern hemisphere.

 

Day 2 – Set out early in the morning on full day game drive, spot the cats still hunting or feeding from their previous night prey and watch them retire into shade as the sun rises up. This drive cuts through the national park from the sandy eastern forest of Main Camp area to the rocky and open wood land of Sinametella. Breakfast and lunch will be served at a picnic site or on observation platform overlooking a waterhole. Refreshments will be provided during the course of the trip. After lunch you continue with the game drive enroute to exit for your transfer to Victoria Falls to arrive around 1900.

On these safaris a walking safari will be provided and chances to sight the cats and rhinos are high as you are in the park and know where the lions were calling during the night and you set for drive as early as possible. Also you can listen to the night sounds of the hyenas, jackals and elephants as they come to drink at the nearby waterhole.

Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and Chobe National Park in Botswana are two of the world’s prime wilderness areas with dense animal populations. Live your dream by ending your safari with various optional activities at the awesome Victoria Falls.
Highlights- include game drives and walks in Hwange National Park, game drive and boat cruise in Chobe National Park and the guided tour of the sensational Victoria Falls.

Day 1 Meet and greet by your Tour Leader at the airport. You then enjoy a transfer to Hwange Safari Lodge situated on a private concession that borders Hwange National Park.The rest of day you relax by Lodge facilities. The lodge is overlooking a perennial waterhole that present an excellent opportunity to see game coming down for a drink especially at sundowner.

Day 2 Today you explore the bush on both the walking safari and a game drive. In between the 2 activities you can relax in the pool overlooking the waterhole where animals come and quench their thirst.

Day 3 You enjoy a full day game drive into Hwange National Park. Lunch will be served at a picnic site in the park. 

          
Day 4 Early morning departure, takes you to Kazungula border by road to Chobe Safari Lodge on the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana. This afternoon you enjoy a game drive in the Chobe National Park.

Day 5  Morning game drive in the park, followed by lunch at the lodge. Sunset boat cruise at 15h00 on the Chobe River.

Day   6  After breakfast, you enjoy a transfer across Kazungula border to Victoria Falls back in Zimbabwe. After lunch you explore the mighty Victoria Falls under leadership of Tour Leader.

Day  7 Optional activities, varying form the impressive helicopter flight over the falls to adventures of whitewater rafting and many more (own expense). Visit to the traditional open market and shops to take home treasures of Africa.
